Jackie Robinson is the Founder & Owner of SheBoss Unlimited, a company that provides leadership development coaching and consulting services to career-driven women who aspire to be great leaders. She also helps women entrepreneurs develop strategies to align their efforts with their business goals and gain clarity on what they need to get results. She is an experienced success-strategist and expert in leadership and professional development training and has been a certified professional development coach, with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, since 2003. Jackie has been recognized as a training expert by Training Industry magazine (2017), which is a leading source for human resources and training professionals and also named a "Training Leader to Watch" by Training magazine (2017). Her 3 signature coaching models, FLIP, REAP, and ACT, have earned her the title, "The Success-Ability Coach". She works with career-driven women and women entrepreneurs to help them discover how to maximize their potential and reach professional milestones. She is skilled at assessing training and development needs and making actionable recommendations. Along with that, she develops leadership development program training plans and training workshops, which are customized to client needs, key performance indicators, and overall career or business objectives. Her expertise also affords her the opportunity to consult small and multimillion dollar mid-sized businesses on performance improvement, process improvement ,workplace culture, and learning and development strategies. She collaborates with them as their trusted advisor by providing recommendations and solutions to help them overcome challenges and/or manage change.
Over the course of her career, she also has used her skills to build college and university career services departments from the ground floor and provide professional development coaching to over 1000 students and graduates. While working in career services, she was responsible for assessing employer needs and matching them with qualified applicants. On the flip side of that, Jackie has provided career advising and one-on-one coaching to help candidates prepare for job interviews, change career industries. develop a personal brand strategy, and position themselves for advancement. Her experience also includes working in a human resource department creating and implementing learning and development strategies, recruitment and retention, and employee engagement plans. Additionally, she is regularly sought out to conduct professional development training for various organizations, including, but not limited to, team building, effective communications, and emotional intelligence.
HER "WHY"
SheBoss Unlimited was born out of her passion for inspiring others to achieve their goals, maximize their potential, and her strong interest in women's empowerment, specifically. As a woman who has worked many years in corporate America she has seen the disparities and inequities that women face first-hand. One of the biggest barriers she faced was not having access to a professional mentor or a sponsor to help her navigate her career, as opposed to her white, female colleagues. As a self-proclaimed feminist she has often been vocal about her stance on issues related to women and does not mind expressing her beliefs in that area. She's a nurturer by nature and has committed herself to help women feel good about themselves, step outside of their comfort zone, and go for what they want and deserve. Whether SHE is an entrepreneur, an aspiring entrepreneur, corporate professional, entry-level employee, or new college graduate, SheBoss Unlimited was created for her.
Jackie understands that women are valuable and powerful beings who make a lot of remarkable contributions to businesses, communities, families and religious organizations, and politics, but are often times not given credit or lucrative opportunities. Research shows many successful companies are those who have women in key or executive level positions. Statistics show that women strike out on their own and start businesses at a speed that outpaces men by far. A multitude of women who start their own businesses do so to have more control over their career and to do something she truly feels good about. Over 1,000 new small businesses are started every week by a woman. Women also obtain college degrees at a higher percentage than men. SheBoss Unlimited is committed to providing professional development resources and business networking events that are carefully planned to provide the women of the "SheTribe" with valuable tools, information, connections, and other resources that will help them to strengthen their personal and professional brand to accelerate their business or career.
Jackie's passion is women's empowerment. She enjoys all-things related to helping women realize their potential and abilities and empowering them to be their best self and strive to reach their own kind of success. She is determined to build a strong network of professional women who are just as passionate as she is and who will encourage and support each other, genuinely. Because of this passion, she has been presented opportunities to speak at women's conferences, company events, churches, and also extends herself as a mentor. Additionally, she has been featured on radio shows, blogs, and in other magazines, like Fuzion, as well.
Jackie believes women can run Fortune 500 companies, start and build a multi-million dollar business, negotiate 7-figure contracts, facilitate a major merger or acquisition, and anything else that they are sometimes denied the opportunity to do, because they are women. Jackie wants every woman to know SHE is a boss in her own right and deserves what she deserves, including equal pay, the same level of funding to grow her business as men are offered, and key executive positions. She deserves to be respected and recognized for all that she does. SheBoss Unlimited's mission is to help women move beyond the obstacles and limits that are meant to hinder their professional progress and take their places as the true bosses they really are.
